Did not last very long, but yes it was not properly secured and somehow started to work its way up the forestay. Had taken the sails down in a hurry because I was suffering from seasickness for the first time in my life after sailing upwind against the current the past 18 hours. Was sort of relaxing after having fed the crabs with all I had to offer when this incident occurred.

Sjøsjuk mann på dekk = seasick man on deck.

autopilot problems on sea talk

I have a E series chart plotters and a networked system with sea talk.  Whenever I power the auto pilot the gps information drops out and the controllers for the autopilot read sea talk failure.  If I depower the pilot everything comes back to normal   My local service tech removed the computer and left it on his bench for about a week before looking at it and said it all worked fine   reinstalled it on the boat and all was well  for about 2 days then the problem was back.   Any thoughts or…See More

Use of e7 MFD with i50 & i60 instruments

I'm sure my question has been asks already, however I do see anything when doing a search of this subject.I currently have the i50 speed and depth instruments, along with the i60 wind. I would like to know if the data from these instruments can be used or displayed by the e7 MFD. I am looking at purchasing the e7 MFD, but need to know if the other instruments on board will work with this MFD?Thank you,Tim HennesseySee More

E120 capability with analog radar?

Gentlemen, I'm considering obtaining either a E120 classic or wide  MFD. would that be compatible with a 218 analog radar dome?I currently have an e7/d for the outside and want an inside MDF. I understand the analog radar is not compatible with the e7/d, although I'm only looking for radar for the E120 other question, will the internal fish finder from the e7/d be compatible for the E120W?I greatly appreciate your support with these questions.See More
