Fernando replied to nico bosscha's discussion EV100 P70 wheel drive gets hot
"Hi Nico. As per my experience (I have a 32 footer, 7.000 kg displacement), the wheel drive for your sailboat seems to be small. Maybe you can keep it working some extra time if you set it up to work as little as possible (there are three set up…"

ST60 depthometer glitch

Hi guys. My depthometer stopped working all of a sudden and I found that the cable had been severed about 9" from the transducer by movable ballast inside my sailboat. I reattached the two wires and twisted the exposed ends of the braided jacket, then tied them together. Now the depthometer reads the depth only up to about approximately 500 ft before showing LAST in the upper corner. How can I get back to full 999 depths again? See More

Moderator - Raymarine, US replied to Dave Brown's discussion P70r does not communicate with Garmin 421 GPS
"Charlie, Unlike the X10/X30 autopilot course computers, the X5 is not designed to power a SeaTalkng backbone.  It is further not recommended that the SeaTalkng backbone be powered by the X5's SeaTalk port or a ground loop may result.…"

Steve Morgan replied to Steve Morgan's discussion Raytech RNS not reading Navionics Multicard reader
"BTW the Navionics multicard reader is seen by the lap top and I can download chart updates from Navionics which tells me the card reader is functioning so it has to be a problem with Raytech 6.2   "
