"Welcome to the Raymarine Technical Forum Chris,
It is indeed possible to daisy chain up to three SeaTalkng devices via their respective SeaTalkng ports. However, the total length of the spur must not exceed 5m. The p70/p70R Autopilot…"
"Thanks, I think. This is one of those times when my past experience (installing my S1G and then SPX5) was my undoing. It would be nice if the p70 manual could make this more clear. See page 42 Section 5.7 "Seatrial…"
"The SPX-5 course computer is not a NMEA 2000 certified device and it is not recommended to be connected to a NMEA 2000 backbone. It is designed specifically to work on a Raymarine Seatalk NG backbone only.
In order for the X5 course computer…"
Unlike prior generations of autopilots, the Evolution autopilots do not require SeaTrial Calibration. As such, this item is not listed within the Evolution autopilot's menus. Should the Dockside Wizard have been completed, then…"
I currently have a 2007 Sea Ray Sundancer 44, that has dual E120 classics, ST8002 Auto Pilot, DSM300, and 4KW Open Array Radar.I would like to start upgrading to either a series or the new eS series displays. If I replace one of the E120's with a new a or eS series display I know that they cannot share cartography and radar, but can they share waypoints, routes, depth, etc? If so what parts would I need to accomplish that?Ideally I would like to be able to set my route and control the autopilot…See More

I have a 32 ft sailboat and purchased the i70 system pack. I have installed the wind transducer on the mast and the speed sensor in the hull. I have no idea how to connect the electronics. I don't have an existing network on the boat. Question: Can I simply wire the sensors to the display using only what is provided in this kit, or is something else required for purchase? Any guidance on this would be very much appreciated!See More
I am new at this. Bought a boat with an RL80C at nav station and RL70 repeater at helm. When powering up the display, I get the 'no fix' message. Tried cold reboot of GPS without benefit. The antenna appears connected ok. Do I need to have an NT card installed for the GPS to locate me? Thanks in advance.See More
