"Yes standard NMEA2000 Lowrance chart plotter and Lowrance AIS radio. My preference would be just connect  NMEA2000 and Seatalk NG backbones together. My understanding is that I will have to power only one backbone. "

I have purchased EV 100 Autopilot which has individual components connected via Seatalk NG network. My boat has already NMEA2000 network installed. Can I connect these two backbones together with Seatalk NG adapter? Or do I need to remove the NMEA backbone and connect all devices to  SeatalkNG network? If the connecting the two networks is possible are there any differences in performance comparing these two options? Thanks,Henry   See More
