Gps to smartpilot with p70r or nmea2000 to seatalk ng

I have a smartpilot with p70r controller. I also have a Lowrance HDS gen 3 that I am installing a Point One gps antenna that requires a nmea2000 backbone.  I would like to use the point one to supply gps data to the p70r. What cable do I need and where do I connect it?  Does power need to be supplied to the nmea2000 backbone or could it get it from the sealine ng backbone after they are connected?  Would a backbone cable be used to connect the two backbones to each other so there is only a…See More

EV-100 Confussion Factor

I need some clarification on the .5 pump that comes with the EV-100 Kit.  The specs for the product states the pump has a ram capacity of 80 - 150 CC, yet the installation guild say it only has a capacity of 80 - 110 CC.So the question is this: Is its upper limit 110 CC or 150CC?See More

Raymarine E120

Well; It's official. THe high voltage unit in my E120 is bad. Looks like it also took out some other circuits also. My options are (1) find a used unit and hope it hold up or (2) install a new E125 unit and feed more comfortable about it.Here's my question;1. Would the E125 work with my existing DSM300 sounder module?2. Will it work with my existing Pathifnder radar?3. Who has a E120 unit that is in good shape and is a direct replacement?Any thoughts or suggestions?See More

"You're welcome.  A brief press of the display's POWER button will display a menu option to capture the screen's image to a microSD memory card within your display's microSD memory card reader."

I installed a RD218 Radome to my C70 classic MFD. The cable was connected to the display and the display was switched OFF. I am using the display to power the Radome. While fishing the cable I found that the red and black power wires were live. Is this normal? Thanks for any info you can supply.See More
