Hello, when building a route on my e7d and than press follow route and active the p70r pilot, is there a way to follow this route without need to confirm the next turn (waypoint) by pushing track at each waypoint?

Thank you

Dave

No, you will need to acknowledge the waypoint arrival and accept the next waypoint bearing. This can not be changed.  The reasoning is we want you to still have to be aware of navigating while using the autopilot and this forces you are make sure the bearing to the next waypoint is safe to navigate before proceeding.

hello, ok thanks for the information.

Thanks for the inquiry.  Contact us if you have any further questions.

st4000 control head compatability with Raymarine linear drive

I have a Raymarine ST4000 Wheelpilot system that some sea lions broke the wheel drive portion.  I would like to use the installed control unit with a new linear drive unit I can mount below deck to the rudder quadrant. Is that possible and are the parts compatible?  If not, how do I get the wheel drive unit repaired?Tom OKeefeSee More

EV-100 vs SPX5/SPX-5GP tiller pilots

When I put "SPX5" in the search box at Defender (I get "no results" on West Marine and GPS Store), I get a listing for the EV-100 wheel pilot, no mention of a tiller version, but showing 16,500 as max vessel weight, same as the SPX-5GP specs on the Raymarine site.  BUT, when I look at the EV-100 specs on the Raymarine site, I see a max vessel weight of 13,200, same as the SPX-5.  In addition, the spec comparison on Raymarine lists identical thrust and throw values for the SPX-5 and SPX5GP.  To…See More

"Thank you. There's no disadvantage to the system's recognition of position - for example, how fast it updates - of using 4800 baud data from the GPS rather than having it wired straight into the SeaTalk network, is there?"
