Hello, when building a route on my e7d and than press follow route and active the p70r pilot, is there a way to follow this route without need to confirm the next turn (waypoint) by pushing track at each waypoint?

Thank you

Dave

No, you will need to acknowledge the waypoint arrival and accept the next waypoint bearing. This can not be changed.  The reasoning is we want you to still have to be aware of navigating while using the autopilot and this forces you are make sure the bearing to the next waypoint is safe to navigate before proceeding.

hello, ok thanks for the information.

Thanks for the inquiry.  Contact us if you have any further questions.

Detach a steering wheel equipped with EV-100?

Hello,I would like to install the EV-100 Wheel autopilot on my 30' sailboat.  My question is whether the steering wheel can easily be detached after installation and stored out of the way when not in use.  My cockpit is small and when anchored or moored we remove the wheel to allow easier movement around the cockpit.  I have gotten two conflicting answers from sales reps at boat shows regarding the ease of removal.  Is it a matter of just undoing a cable or does the removal involve unscrewing…See More

C-Widescreen and E-Widescreen on Same HS Network?

I want to add backup and lower helm MFD displays to my current system: E-140-Widescreen, DSM-300 sounder, and RD424HD radome system, all talking to each other through a HS Switch. Can I add one or two C-series Widescreens (90, or 120 or 140) to this system and share everything?  The more I read about HS, the more I think it would work, but the manuals for both the C-series Widescreens and the E-series-Widescreens don't address this and only talk about networking with their own kind. For a backup…See More
