Hi,

I have a Wheel pilot with an ST6001+ control head and have an opportunity to pick up a new X-5 course computer at a good price. Will my control head work with the X-5? Whats the difference between the ST6001+ and the ST6002+?

Yes, the ST6001+ will work with the X5 course computer.  The only difference is cosmetic, the ST6002+ is newer and has more rounder edges, the functionality and software levels are the same.

CPT-100 Mounting

I just installed a CPT-100 on my transom and I noticed that it is not solid like the P58 next to it. The plastic housing on the mount has a little rattle in it. Is this normal? Seems to me that it would cause interruption. The P58 doesn't budge an inch if you shake it but this new CPT-100 is mounted very well on the transom and has a shimmy in it where it pivots up. Any ideas???See More

"Ok thanks but no joy. The pilot icon still has a red X across it, the pilot controls are greyed out and the unit says autopilot not found. I have set the baud rate to 34800 as required what am I missing ? Thanks Shaun"

GPS communications using Ray View

I have 2 E120's widescreen and 1 E140 on the boat, one of the E120's is the master unit. I downloaded the ipad app to communicate with these units and it seems as if they are not equipped to communicate back. I can't find anything in the settings that searches for wifi or another unit to talk to. I don't have the boat nearby right now, so I don't have the serial numbers. However, the boat is a 2013 built in 2012, so the units could be older. They have the touch screen and from what I can see,…See More

CP100 Depth Reading

I have installed a CP100 fishfinder on my e127 MFD.  It seems to work with the exception of the depth read out.  The data block works for the max depth setting, but not the actual depth setting.  Do I need to set something up in the menu to get this data?I have also noted that when I go back to the internal sounder the 200MHZ view does not scroll.  The actual depth works in the data block.  I disable the ping on the chirp module when I switch to the internal sounder to ensure only one…See More
