I am trying to calibrate my ST60+ Tridata speed display. SOG data is available. When I go through the User Calibration steps, I get to the "Adjust to SOG" screen and the current SOG is displayed at the bottom of the display. However, the instrument speed (speed thru water) never adjusts to match the SOG.

It seems like all the information is there to calibrate to SOG, but the adjustment is not happening.

Maybe I'm missing a step?

I could try a manual calibration factor adjustment, but adjusting to SOG seems so much easier.

I have enclosed the manual to this email and the procedure is found on page 34, once you see the SOG data on the bottom of the screen you need to press the RESET button to accept the SOG data for the speed information displayed.

I guess it would help if I read the instructions! I don't know how I missed that. I imagine the muscles that roll the eyes are highly developed among product support people.

Thanks for the help!

Ha! Thanks for the chuckle.  Contact us if there are any further questions.

When I press reset to accept the SOG which I am seeing it beeps but still shows 0.0 and doesn't transfer the SOG to the speed. Please advise.
