Hi, I have a 27' SeaPro CC boat with the new "e" series MFD's and HD radar. It has twin outboard Mercury Verado's with hydraulic steering (not powered steering). Can I use the new EV-200 kit which has the steering drive on my boat?

The dry weight of the boat with the engines is about 6,000lb. Thanks.

You would be working with the EV-200 but with Twin Verados, you would need to hydraulic autopilot system.  T70157, then with Verados, you would need the Verado hose kit as well, A18127.

Thanks. That option is very expensive. Can I use the EV-100 instead?

Also, will the EV-1 function by itself and provide heading data to my e7 so I can get my radar overlay if I just purchase that separately?

Thanks again.

The EV-100 does not have the capacity to work with Verados, the option above is the only option that will work with your vessel.

The EV-1 will not work as a heading sensor only.

I would suggest the Airmar 2183 heading sensor (T70132) for heading data for overlay capabilities.

Sport Pilot - EV200 installation help

Im in the process of installing the wheel sport pilot on my boat for the EV200 system.  The direction say to turn to starboard until you cant anymore.  The problem is that you have to line up the key which on my would require almost a 320 degree turn back to port to get it to line up.  Does it even matter about the position of the shaft when you install the unit?See More

c95 networked with e7 won't display NMEA AIS targets when both displays active, and other troubles

Just installed a new c95 belowdecks, along with a new dicitfqrk raymarine radar scanner, and the Rainer network cables between the c95 and the e7. I have a third party (ACR) AIS transponder connected via the NMEA input port 1 on both MFDs. The AIS targets display just fine when either MFD is running by itself, but as sinks as you turn on the second unit (and select the c95 as the master unit) the. AIS targets disappear on both units. What is wrong? Also, the c95 (connected to ther radar via a…See More

Seatalkng i60 does not show wind data

I upgraded from a ST70 with a seatalkng speed/depth transducer and a wind pod to i70 instruments and one i60 instruments. 2 i70 instruments and the i60 instrument are daisy chained with spur cables to the back bone. I also have A65 chart plotter and Evolution autopilot with 2 P70 head instruments. The i60 does not show any wind information in the display (true/apparent, etc). It shows analog wind angle for about 1 minute and then stops on 0.All wind data is available on both i70 instruments on…See More
